I stayed at the hotel for the weekend. It was a lovely hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the city center. The foods were OK especially I liked the breakfast. The lovely staff was helpful. The room was clean but I didn't like the bed it was uncomfortable somehow. The hotel was decorated elegantly. I would stay there again

My brother and i happened to stay at this hotel only for one night last month. Well, i should say that it was not the best hotel ever. The hotel is a little bit shabby, the staff is friendly but not professional at all. The rooms were ok for a 2 star hotel but could have be better of course. This hotel is a ok place to stay but if you plan to stay in Glasgow longer i would suggest that you choose a more comfortable hotel.

Lovely cosy hotel very central to all amaenities and city centre the staff were kind and helpful breakfast was too much great variety I stayed December 27th for 3 nights yes I would stay there again

I stayed in a deluxe room once before and found it to be good but, being a 2 star hotel, I was expecting the single room to not be so great. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very comfortable. I slept well. Breakfast was good. The service was prompt and staff was very efficient. Enjoyed my stay at Alexander Thomson Hotel.

It's quite noisy at nights because of the street below, however clean and tidy rooms, friendly and helpful stuff, nice food and atmosphere, created a good value for this hotel and left a good impression.

The hotel is an excellent value, close to the Central train station, and clean. We felt really comfyand safe despite various rumours. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

I stayed in Alexander Thomson Hotel with my friends for 2 nights. The hotel is very centrally located, rooms were large and compfy and the breakfast was good. Me and my friends would stay there again for sure.

I have stayed at Alexander Thomson Hotel over the weekend. Since traveling to Glasgow pretty frequently, I found Alexander Thomson Hotel to be the most satisfactory hotel so far among budget hotels available around. A very clean, comfortable, well re-furbished hotel. Locaton is very good, almost on top of the central railway station.

My friend and I both on a budget were looking for a cheap place to stay while in Glasgow. And there is Alexander Thomson Hotel offering unbeatable price. I was a little worried at first because it was so cheap. But we had a great experience. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was tasty and they room was basic but nice. Its in a bit of a rough looking area but we were fine. Overall, Alexander Thomson Hotel was a great deal for the city center hotel. Planning to come to Alexander Thomson Hotel next year. It is very good hotel for the value. Staff is very friendly and helpfull, location is more than good, just in the very central part, on Argylle street, where you can easilly explore Glasgow on foot. Also great connections witht the conference center and the close airport connection as well. Breakfast very rich and nice, but always same, and traditional Scottish. The room small, but the bathroom rather big. Very good price for the quaity. Would recommend it for budget travellers. Would probably stay there again

This hotel was very clean, roomy, and nice with a great breakfast each morning. For the price this is a very nice place. I would recommend this hotel.

I don't think I slept at all because the bed was so uncomfortable. The staff was friendly but having to share the elevator with the cleaning crew's garbage bags wasn't fun. To save money you can stay here, but I'll spend more next time and go for some comfort instead.
