We enjoyed our stay at Herald House. It was clean, staff amazingly helpful, plenty of lovely hot food available at breakfast. Within walking distance to Edinburgh, the Castle & most of the tourist attractions. Bus stop 1 min walk away, Cinema complex close by. All in all a great place to stay hope to return one day soon.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Herald House hotel for the weekend. We liked the hotel and would stay again. Rooms are well decorated comfortable and clean. The hotel has a great location close to the city centre. Breakfast is amazing. I recommend my friends

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is only 5 minute walk away from Haymarket Train Station. It has a friendly ambience and the staff is so friendly. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. My room was cosy with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. It's a nice budget hotel and i would go back there again.

I've been impressed by welcoming at the Herald House Hotel, moreover the hotel staff were competent and prompt. However I should mention one drawback - the noise of the neighbors was kind of disturbing. Although, despite that, I enjoyed my time at Herald House Hotel.

Herald House Hotel is a very nice home like hotel. The hotel staff were eager to assist is me anytime. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and relaxing. And on the top of that it was a reasonable price and it wasn't far from the centre of town.

Family stayed here and thorougly recommended it. Staff were very friendly and happy to answer all queries. Disagree with above comments on breakfast, lots to eat and served very quickly.

My partner and I stayed at the Herald House Hotel and I couldn't wait to offer feedback, as I chose this hotel over another based on the review at this web site. I'm happy to advise that we had a lovely time!! The staff were most helpful with any queries. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. The best bit was that the location is fantastic, just 10-15 minutes walk from town and if you're feeling a little tired, there's a bus stop about 1 minute away to get you into town. All this with a filling, tasty breakfast to set you up for the day. I would definately stay there again if visiting Edinburgh!
