I stayed in this hotel for four days. I called them a few hours prior to the reservation and they were unable to find my reservation for like two hours causing me trouble. I had to email the otel.com website and the site called the hotel and then the hotel called me to inform me that my reservation has been found. Although the room rates were reasonable but compared to other similar "2 star" hotels, they were not the cheapest. The services are so so. Television channels? only 8 different channels highlighting BBC News and CNN. Minibar = a mini refrigerator containing a bottle of tapwater. Water was really hot, literally boiling hot! there was probably no arrangement to mitigate the temperature of water. Airconditioning, okay but no controls in the rooms. Location is reasonable but not the best. Burjuman Mall is around 20 mins walk at the very least. You are better off taking a cab or a city bus. You will find black pimps and prostitutes right in front of the door after 11pm. The buffet breakfast is really not worth it. You are better of having a meal or breakfast outside at a decent restaurant. The hotel does not provide any specific shuttle services except for the drop off service to the terminal 1, dubai airport. Receptionist, two of them were very kind and pleasant. One of them even remembered me by face and put my key on the counter the moment i walked in the door of the hotel! No Pool. No decent restaurant or bar inside the hotel. 2 elevators. They will keep on ping-ing all day all night long. The walls are really not sound proof and the drumming and music will definitely disturb you in your room when u try to sleep. The view from the rooms is kinda pathetic too... cloths getting dried on other roofs on wires and stuff. There are no showers beside the toilets, unlike the rest of the UAE where even the malls and public places have showers with the toilets. Nearby Location: Seashell inn hotel (larger and many more taxi drivers know of it) Taxi to terminal 2 in day time will cost u around 40dhs and at night it will cost u around 55dhs. Taxi to sharjah megamall: 30dhs daytime Taxi to Ibnebatuta mall: 55dhs daytime Value for money? 2/5 Stars? 2
