The hotel is very close to the center of Brussels. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The neighbourhood is multiculturel and perfect for low budget travellers. You can find lots of cheap places to eat Arabian food and various shops with lots of food and cheap stuff from the Arabian world. A reasonable choise at the price.

Ho trovato questo hotel davvero molto confortevole, colazione a buffet abbondantissima con vasta scelta (thè caffè latte spremute cereali brioche pane marmellata yogurt uova prosciutto..ecc); il personale è davvero cordiale e preciso nelle indicazioni; l'hotel offre una reception aperta 24 ore su 24, quindi non avete problemi se volete tornar tardi la notte; dista poche centinaia di metri dalla metro dalla quale potrete raggiungere qualunque posto vogliate; il centro e la piazza Grand Place distano 2,2 km dall'hotel..una ventina di minuti a pied..non è poi cosi pesante! Il check out dell'hotel è alle 11 AM mentre il check in nn è specificato..io sono arrivato verso mezzogiorno e mi hanno dato subito una camera..:-) La camera è pulitissima, servizi in camera privati anch'essi puliti niente da dire. In definitiva..Ottimo qualità prezzo! consigliato:SI!

Despite all negative reports I have read on internet, I should say that I found Scandinavia hotel to be very cheap, clean hotel. The greatest advantage was that Scandinavia Hotel is located 2 minute walk down the street to the metro station. The room was the luxurious but did reflect the price it offered. The breakfast was excellent. Reception staff was approachable and helpful. I have stayed in Scandinavia hotel for 2 nights and truly enjoyed my time.

A few of us stayed at the Scandinavia during a week there was a football match in Anderlecht. The hotel was very clean, check in was speedy despite the numbers of check-ins over the couple of days, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I can't believe the poor reviews of some other travellers as I have no criticisms of the hotel at all. The staff were very friendly and more helpful than in most hotels I've stayed at. The Scandinavia is not within walking distance of the Grand Place, but it is only a short taxi ride or a few stops on the metro which is a couple of minutes' away. Would definitely stay there again. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is very conveniently located. It is minutes from the Metro station (Clemencau) and bus and tram stops. It is about 15 minute walk to the Midi Station. Apart from location, I had a very good room & bathroom - clean and comfortable. There is an inhouse bar area and breakfast, lunch & dinner are available. I definitely enjoyed my breakfast - continental style with juice, cereals, yougart, boiled eggs, cheese and ham, fresh rolls, jam, fresh fruit, cake and plenty of coffee and tea. I would recommend this hotel to friends and business colleagues. Yes, I will stay there again.

Scandinavia hotel is very keenly priced hotel close to Midi station (for Eurostar) and within the walking distance to central Brussels. Friendly and helpful staff did not leave us unattended. No problems with cleanliness, despite a few strange comments from other users. We had a room facing the main road so the noise was inevitable. If you are planning to stay at Scandinavia Hotel you might want to ask for the room in the back, for quieter sleep. However, overall, we enjoyed the adequate conditions offered.
